Brief Introduction to
Shaanxi Dongyu Tea Industry Co., Ltd
Dongyu Tea Industry Co., Ltd. is located at Wuliba Town
in Xixiang County of Shaanxi Province. Xixiang Tea started
from the Qin and Han Dynaties and became popular in the
Tang Dynasty. With great prestige, it was a tribute to
the imperial courts. With a registered capital of 3.8
million RMB yuan and a fixed asset of 6 million yuan,
the Company has purchased two thousand mu of land and
built two ecological tea gardens. The 2 tea production
bases are located on the southern slopes of the Qinling
Mountain where the soil is rich in zinc and selenium.
In the tea garden area the average above-sea-level height
is 800-1000 meters; the annual precipitation is 900-1200
mm; the temperature difference between day and night is
great. Close to the jungle of Bashan Mountains, the area
is covered with exuberant trees and undergrowth with fresh
air and pure water. It is ecologically diversified with
fertile soil, high content of organic matter and a PH
value of 4.5-5.5. The gardens have diffused light, dense
clouds and mist and are rich in zinc and selenium rich
tea gardens seldom seen in China.
The Company, considering the requirements of environmental
protection, has built a 2000 m2-large workshop and equipped
it with the domestically up-to-date tea-making devices
like the steam killing-off machines. It turns out 60 tons
of environment-friendly and quality organic green tea
of Dongyu brand such as Wuzi Xianhao, Dongyu Green tea
(special grade), Maojian, Dingjun Mingmei, etc. The Company
is engaged in the combination of planting, processing,
screening, research, development and marketing of tea
leaves. Its products have been sold to Japan, Russia,
Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc.
Characteristics of the Company's Major Products:
1. Dongyu Brand Wuzi Xianhao: Similar to orchid in shape,
it is flat and tenderly green at the bottom of leaf. Fragrant
like the chestnut, it makes clear and bright tea. Modern
technological tests and analysis prove that it contains
4.1% of amino acids, 27.3% of tea polyphenol, 4.43% of
caffeine, 2.03 mg chlorophyll per gram, 0.038 microgram
VB1 per gram, 0.732 microgram VB2 /G, 0.858 microgram
selenium/G and 53.5 microgram zinc/G. The above figures
show that this tea excels other teas in the content of
zinc, selenium, amino acids, tea polyphenol, vitamins
and other trace elements. Therefore, it is effective in
resolving blood-fat, lowering blood pressure, resisting
radiation, preventing and resisting cancer. It is a very
special green tea China has ever produced.
2. Dingju Mingmei: Regularly shaped and as thin as eyebrows,
it looks tenderly green and gives off lasting fragrance.
The tea it makes is bright and yellowish green. Physical
and chemical tests prove that it contains 3.56% of amino
acids, 3% of caffeine, 30.5% of tea polyphenol and 44.35%
of water extracts. "Mingmei" means young girls'
eyebrows, referring to the shape of the tea. As a rarity,
it was used in 1995 by the General Office of the Central
Committee of CPC as a drink at the state banquets.
3. Dongyu Green Tea (Specially prepared): Carefully handpicked
and scientifically prepared, it contains trace elements
like zinc and selenium, amino acids and vitamins. Round
and straight stripes make bright tea with enduring fragrance.
It promotes body immunity and helps prevent radiation
and cancer.
